At just 11 years old, Izzy Carter has already made a solid name for herself on the Minimoto racing scene. Her natural ability has seen her earn the nickname ‘Mini Rossi’ inspired by the legend Valentino Rossi which is an affectionate nod to the elite levels and notoriety she’s speeding towards. As she leads the next generation of elite moto athletes, Mini Rossi is beginning to lay the groundwork of her own legacy.
2019 was a challenging year for Carter as she sustained a leg injury that prevented her racing. Carter’s hunger and determination shone through and she returned with a drive for new challenges. Obstacles to Carter are simply opportunities.
2020 sees Carter take on her biggest challenge yet- racing in the Ohvale Cup UK. Here she races against far more experienced riders, but it is safe to say that she is unafraid to hold her own. Quickly adapting to rapid gear changing, the Irish rider is embracing the change like a pro and she doesn’t look like stopping any time soon.
