If there’s one thing you can’t teach in motocross, it’s resilience — and Devin Simonson has it in spades. After a tough setback sidelined him before his first full Supercross season in 2025, Simonson is back for 2026, stronger and hungrier than ever.
A Comeback in Motion
Last year, Simonson earned the opportunity of a lifetime when Club MX offered him a coveted spot to represent the team in the 2025 Eastern Regional Series of Supercross — a dream gig for any young racer. But fate had other plans. A wrist injury in December forced him out of most of the season, leaving him little chance to show what he could do.
That didn’t stop him. Devin lined up for the final three rounds in New Jersey, Pittsburgh, and Salt Lake City, finishing inside the top ten in every race. A solid showing — but as he’ll tell you, not yet his best.
A New Deal, A New Drive
Where most would see a setback, Club MX saw potential. Instead of closing the book, they gave Simonson another shot — signing him to a new “250 Supercross Only” contract for 2026. The decision on whether he’ll race East or West will come later, but one thing’s certain: he’ll be ready.
Since the end of the season, Devin has doubled down on fitness, training, and nutrition, showing massive gains in performance and mindset. The Club MX collaboration with Rick Ware Racing will also open the door to international competition starting this October — giving Simonson a chance to test himself against the best, across continents.
“I’m really happy to have this opportunity… again,” says Devin Simonson. “Club MX has been a huge part of my racing program for a long time, and now it’s on me to make the most of it. The facility has everything — from the tracks to the nutrition program, the trainers, even the new health and wellness center. I couldn’t be in a better place to succeed, and I’m grateful every day.”
From Terre Haute to the Top
Simonson’s story starts like many others — a kid from Terre Haute, Indiana, who fell in love with motocross when he got his first bike back in 2006. His hero was Ken Roczen, and like Roczen, he raced under #70 as he climbed through the ranks.
Fast forward to today: Devin’s not just chasing his heroes anymore — he’s lining up alongside them. 2026 is shaping up to be the most important season of his career, and every lap at ClubMX is building toward something special.
Confidence Meets Capability 🧠💥
Daniel Blair, Club MX General Manager, sees the difference first hand:
“I work with Devin on the track every day, and it’s a sight to see. His natural ability has always been there, but this year there’s a new level of confidence that makes him dangerous. He takes instruction well — the more he learns, the faster he gets. He’s going to be one of those ‘how’d they do that?’ riders people talk about all season.”
