The 2026 Downhill World Cup season got off to a dramatic start in South Korea.

For one weekend, however, it becomes the centre of the mountain bike universe as the world's fastest riders arrive for round two of the UCI Downhill World Cup.
If South Korea was about survival, Loudenvielle is all about speed.
The track has quickly established itself as one of the standout venues on the World Cup calendar. Fast, physical and demanding from top to bottom, it rewards commitment and punishes hesitation. Riders need confidence to push the limits, while teams need complete trust in their setup and preparation.
The opening race provided valuable lessons and early insights, but Loudenvielle presents an entirely different challenge. With higher speeds, bigger consequences and little room for error, every detail matters. From bike setup and suspension performance to line choice and race execution, success is built long before the clock starts.
