From stunts to tricks, racing to flips – Jolene Van Vugt is one of the gnarliest and coolest women on the planet.
She was the first woman to ever backflip a motorcycle, she’s got a Canadian National MX Championship win under her belt, the first female member of Nitro Circus and even been Catwoman’s body double… do you know anyone else with a CV this rad? We don’t!
Riding motocross from the age of 11, at 14 she was given an ultimatum to either take racing seriously or give the bike up for good. Choosing to race full time, she quickly climbed the ranks to become the Canadian Women's Motocross Champion. From there she's broken world records and broken down stereotypes.
In 2015 her love of 4 wheels started to grow when she was given the opportunity to race the Polaris RZR’s, and her love, passion and talent in the UTV has grown to rival that of what she's capable of on 2 wheels.
This year, Jolene is joining the Muc-Off Moto crew as our flagship female and the brand’s first ever UTV rider. We are STOKED to have her on board and in true MO style, we have kitted her Polaris RZR out with a full custom Muc-Off wrap that features her beloved mountains and plenty of hints to her home-ground of Canada. This perfectly matches her custom helmet that she’ll be wearing at events and race days, debuting at the International Women's Ride Day on May 1st.
A demon on two wheels, and even better on four – we can’t wait to make waves across the pond with this kick-ass legend.
