HCB-1 – or Harsh Conditions Barrier – is a state-of-the-art formula that creates a thin, but long-lasting film over corrosion prone components to provide heavy duty protection and peace of mind against the elements. When applied it creates a self-healing barrier, that’s active for up to a year (12 months) … techy, we know!
So, what about Protectants?
To differentiate Motorcycle Protectant and Bike Protect from HCB-1, the easiest way to explain it is that these protectants are the perfect all-rounders. They provide excellent bodywork and component protection in a range of conditions, however, HCB-1 has been specifically developed for rust and corrosion prevention in the gnarliest conditions Mother Nature can throw at you.

The result? An innovative formula that drives out moisture and creates a durable anti-corrosive barrier designed to continually obliterate corrosion.
This is where it gets scientific – our formula contains strong capillary action, meaning it spreads into the tightest micro-cracks and seams to remove moisture and salt, all while leaving behind a tough and durable barrier. It really is the enemy of rust, as the components treated with HCB-1 lasted over 300 hours of exposure before rust appeared. It can be applied to already rusted components to remove corrosion while protecting against it.
