POOLE 23.07.2021, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Muc-Off are pleased to announce their new partnership with reigning female motocross world champion – Courtney Duncan.
Muc-Off, the global leader in bike and motorcycle care and performance, will be working with DRT Kawasaki’s Courtney Duncan who has been labelled ‘the fastest female on the planet’ as part of an incredible line up of athletes and teams that Muc-Off supports across both cycling and powersports.
“It is awesome to be partnering with Courtney Duncan who is at the peak of her career in women’s motocross. Not only has she secured two world championship titles, but she has also and been recognised for her achievements by being awarded Sportswomen of the year. We look forward to seeing her battle for her third world title’ - Alex Trimnell CEO Muc-Off
25-year-old Duncan has been riding a motorbike since she was 7 years old and made her debut in the world championships in 2016. After a few years of injury setbacks, Duncan finally clinched the WMX Championship title in 2019 with a ‘near perfect’ year where she won nine of the 10 races in the championship. In 2020 she had to work a little harder for the championship, battling down to the wire for the gold plate. This is where the Kiwi’s determination shone through and her tenacity in those final moments was enough to secure her, her second world title.
“I’m so stoked to be working with Muc-Off and to finally announce our partnership for 2021. It is awesome to see a brand stepping up to support female athletes in this sport. I am excited to start using the products and learn a little more about mountain bike maintenance thanks to my other partnership with Marin Bikes’. – Courtney Duncan, WMX World Champion
2021 will see Duncan battling for her third world title in the WMX World Championships and Muc-Off will be supporting her and Dixon Racing team with full armoury of Clean, products from their motorcycle range which includes the renowned pink Nano Tech Bike Cleaner; the flagship product that launched the brand back in 1994. Muc-Off will also be supporting Duncan off the track within the MTB sector to help keep her new Marin bike in pristine condition for the trails.
Duncan will make her 2021 race debut this weekend on Sunday 25th July in Czech Republic at Loket, one of the most prestigious tracks on the FIM World Motocross Championship roster.

ABOUT MUC-OFF:
Back in 1991 Rex and Marilyn Trimnell got things started with X-Lite UK. After designing and manufacturing the world’s first twin crown bicycle fork, Rex created a perfectly pink spray to clean his kit. To make a long story short, Rex’s cleaner was the best thing since sliced bread, and it wasn’t long before word got out and Muc-Off was born.
Fast-forward to now and Muc-Off is now the go-to brand for top riders. And, in case you haven’t noticed, we do a bit more than our iconic original pink cleaner these days.
