Project Green Recycling and Refills
Piloted in the UK in 2019, the Refill Programme through Muc-Off stores is going global this year. This initiative was developed as part of achieving the key objective of Project Green: to eliminate over 30 tonnes of plastic by 2023 (as well as supporting the Muc-Off IBD network!)
How Does it work? Muc-Off are giving the refill Point of Sale stands to dealers for free when they place an order for 2 x 25 litre containers of Nano Bike Cleaner. Through this incentive, we aim to place 1250 refill stations in dealerships globally which we calculate would save 270,000 plastic bottles from being produced and this equates to 30 tonnes! The added bonus? The RRP on the refill service is 50% cheaper to end consumers meaning they can clean their bike for less as well as have a clean conscience!
Step your DIY game up with a Muc-Off Upcycled Mudguard! We made our Nano Tech Bike Cleaner bottles to last. After its first use, the rule of thumb is to stock up on Bike Cleaner Concentrate, re-fill and re-use until your heart’s content.
Believe it or not, it’s not time to throw it away yet as there’s still use for your old Nano Tech Bike Cleaner bottle, you can turn it into a front mudguard with our downloadable template and simple instructions!
